The country is now experiencing the tell-tale effects of climate change in the form of super typhoons, tornadoes, and prolonged drought.
Artists need to respond to the alarming situation. One of their roles can be as advocates of environmental awareness among communities and sectors of the general public most affected by disasters. Artists must also encourage the people to take positive action.
The AlunAlun Dance Circle with the support of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) initiates this project entitled PANGALAY NG BAYAN: ALAY SA KALIKASAN.
